About Atticist

Atticist is an award-winning theatre company.

 

Our first production, Life According to Saki, won the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe and transferred Off Broadway in 2017. Since then, Atticist has produced three acclaimed and multi-OFFIE-nominated revivals as well as continuing to develop and stage award-winning new writing. In 2019, we began co-producing with venues, producers, and theatre-makers who share Atticist's interests and concerns.

During the pandemic, Atticist focused on development projects, as well as commissioning and producing audio drama.

​

We want to make work that is bold, hopeful, inventive, and exciting. Work that roots around inside us where the fantastic nightmares lie.

Atticist is run on a day-to-day basis by joint Artistic Directors David Doyle and Jessica Lazar.
